Since May 2018, we’ve held community movie nights centering Asian Pacific Islander (API) voices and issues in partnership with the following orgs:
- New Mexico Asian Family Center
- Young Asian Americans of Albuquerque
- Asian Pacific American Caucus in NM
- National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum – ABQ Chapter
The events include screening of API-centered films around themes of colonization, food, social activism, LGBTQ, intergenerational issues, economic justice, “model minority” myth, and more. See our calendar to keep up to date on our Community Movie Nights. Some of our screenings include:
